Performance of Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Turkey Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top five navigation and maps apps in Turkey exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 149K in mid-July and gradually decreasing to approximately 90K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust weekly active user base, ranging from 7.1M to 7.7M throughout the quarter.

Yandex Navigator saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 38K in early July and dropping to about 30K by the end of September. The app's weekly revenue varied slightly, peaking at $24 in the last week of September. Active users fluctuated between 1.3M and 1.6M during the quarter.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector displayed a downward trend in weekly downloads, with a high of 33K in early July and a low of 10K by the end of September. Weekly revenue peaked at $1.1K in mid-July before decreasing to $577 in the last week of September. Active users also declined from 59K in early July to around 35K by the end of September.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 21K in early July and ending at 15K in late September. Weekly revenue was relatively stable, peaking at $87 in mid-August. The app's active users ranged from 34K to 49K throughout the quarter.

Yandex Maps and Navigator showed a consistent decline in weekly downloads, from 19K in mid-July to around 8K by the end of September. Weekly revenue peaked at $51 in mid-July and remained relatively low for the rest of the quarter. Active users fluctuated between 359K and 395K during this period.
